While infants are very demanding and curious, they detect their own schedules of eating and sleeping. During their uptime, we engage in DAP activities to assist in their development and growth. Infants are read to while encourging motor development, self awareness, recognition and provided unconditional love and attention.

While still receiving the required stimulation from interacting with peers and staff, Toddlers are encouraged to express their feelings, explore their environment and engaged in activities such as water play, shaving cream and pudding to explore sensory skills. Block and shape play are used to develop cognitive skills. Crawling, running, walking and appropriate climbing help strengthen and develop motor skills.

Toddlers begin their self help skills of toilet training, assisting and manipulating garments and shoes to to encourage self-esteem and confidence. Toddlers are praised to encourage when attempting a task or completing one to build self-esteem and confidence as well.
